Pumpkin Seed is open year-round and offers space based on availability. If you are interested in a space for your child, feel-free to begin contacting us on January 1st each year. Because we do not have a formal waiting list, and in the interest of equity, we reset all first-contact dates to the current year, so feel free to drop us a line to check in when we are full.

Prospective families must first return a basic questionnaire by email, then schedule an in-person visit. All visits are conducted at 9:30am, M-F. During the visit you can get a feel for our free-play session, transition (clean-up), and circle time. We will provide you with a sample menu, daily report, calendar, and registration packet (which is non-obligatory). We are also happy to answer all of your questions!

Care Details

We offer care for 3, 4, or 5 days per week. In an effort to build the best, most cohesive community possible, we only offer full-day care. We are licensed for up to 14 children, but never have more than 12 per full day. Our hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

We serve home cooked breakfast, and fresh-made lunch, as well as healthy morning and afternoon snacks. We often include produce from our trees and garden. We can accommodate a variety of diets, please just ask us!

At the end of each day, we email you a detailed report so that you are clearly aware of how your child is doing. It will share the days’ activities, a description of how your child interacted with their friends and the environment, and other important information. It really helps parents stay connected to their kids, when they have to be at work or school themselves.

Rates

Our tuition is based on a daily rate of $96. That works out to $288/wk for 3 days, $384/wk for 4 days, and $480/wk for 5 days.
